6 Healthy Hallowe’en Ideas

Hallowe’en is a challenging time to stay healthy and especially to keep the kids having fun while eating wholesome goodies. Avoid the intense sugar rush this year with some great and easy hallowe’en ideas and recipes we have pulled together from our favourite sources!

First on our list are Mummy’s Fingers from Paleo Leap.

These are sausages wrapped in bacon with a little wholegrain mustard brushed on to look like general rot and decay! Great for a savoury filler at any party!

Our next idea comes from Weelicious. These little cuties would go down a storm! You can get chocolate drops at the shop to help complete these!

Looking for something creepy? Look no further than ForkandBeans for a raw treat that is sure to get a few giggles!

The next recipe would be great to make with the kids. They can assemble and put the faces on the ghosts. This recipe comes from Livinghealthywithchocolate.

Another winner is the apple bites from Ohsheglows. With only 3 ingredients, these are an easy to assemble treat that balances the sweet with the fats of the nut butter.

Our final recipe comes from NomNom Paleo. This is a great way to use a spiraliser and a super tasty way to get some sweet potato on the plate! Serve up and the kids will love it!

Remember you can get almost everything for these at the shop on Exchange Street, so don’t forget to pop by! Also, you can get pumpkins for carving (and eating) too! Check out some of our pumpkin recipes to see what you can do with the leftover guts and brains 😉
