Chia Seeds are an ancient, South American superfood that can be added to food or drink to add a high quality source of Omega 3, Protein and Iron and powerful antioxidant properties. Below is our recipe for Chia Pudding, a great way to get an alternative to porridge that is super easy and paleo friendly.
Chia Pudding
- 1/2 Cup Chia Seeds
- 1 Can coconut Milk / 1 1/4 Cups of Almond Milk
- 2 TB Honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- Toppings: Banana slices, Slivered Almonds, Coconut Flakes, Cacao Nibs, Raisins, Drizzle of Honey
Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly. Place in the fridge overnight or up to 8 hours and serve chilled.
