Almonds are so versatile. We stock them in so many varieties for your baking, cooking and eating needs with Almond meal for making gluten free cakes, to almond milk for lactose free diets.
How to make your own Almond Milk
- 2 Cups Almonds (soaked over night, blanched and skinned)
- 2 Medjool Dates
- 6 Cups Water
- Pinch Salt (Optional cinnamon/Vanilla Essence)
Blend blanched and skinned almonds with the dates together with the water until smooth. If it looks too thick, add more water.
Strain through cheesecloth and store in glass jar for up to 4 days in the fridge. Yum!
